I have a mongrel with a medium-long coat, but it certainly doesn't have a thick coat. So when we go for a longer walk in the winter, I always dress him up (especially his bare underside). Let's take a look at some new functional clothing pieces for dogs:

Another functional clothing piece is Hurtta Extreme Warmer. Your dog wouldn't freeze wearing this even in Siberia (I'm exaggerating, of course). As the name suggests, the clothing is designed for extreme conditions. It is very warm and it has a foil insulating layer. It was developed in the field with work dogs. Its cut ensures maximum protection for all important muscle groups and complete freedom of movement. The foil insulation keeps the heat generated by the dog inside and the top material is breathable, so there is no risk of overheating or sweating, and it is also waterproof. If there's mud outside, you just need to put your dog under the shower in the raincoat, and you will have a clean raincoat and a clean, dry dog.
